I designed and painted my own label.
Where did the year go? I was busy watering, tying vines, and talking to the clusters. I love the peaceful, earthy feeling I get when walking through the rows of vines that are as tall as I am.
This years harvest, de-stemming, and crushing is done. The wine is in a large container, aging. I'll bottle some time next year. November, the vineyard goes into hibernation. The work is done and it's time for rest!
Signs of new growth will show in March, with small Viridian Green leaves tipped in Alizarin Crimson. So pretty and delicate looking.
Yes, I enjoy painting in the vineyard. My painting, Harvest Time, 22"x15" half sheet watercolor, SOLD first time on display. I am pleased.
I wish a bountiful Thanksgiving to all, Eat, Talk, and Laugh!
